WSO Review of Viral Blogging Traffic by Tom Ness – Day 2

Yes, I am aware that it has been quite some time since I posted about Tom Ness and his Viral Blogging Traffic, but I will let you know that I have been working on my kindle project.

But tonight I watched the first video – entitled Core Program.  He made about an hour and a half long video that could have been 30 minutes if he would have taken the time to plan ahead.  I suspect he had a general idea what he was going to say, but I was a bit of fumbling around.  But it did have good content.  I am not going to say that all of it was new, because in all honesty it was not.  I know most of the stuff he talks about.  But I did not know to put it all together in this way.

First of all, it’s a video without notes.  I would like a page of notes telling me what I am going to learn.  You also don’t know how long it’s going to be – so sit down because it’s 90+ minutes as far as I can tell.  (Don’t hold me to that!)

He tells me that he’s going to tell me the 3 things that make a great blog, and give plenty of examples.  Watching the video, it is clear what his system is and how it works.  I am not sure I have any proof that it does work, but that is why I am doing this blog.  I am going to implement that process on my renaldiethq.com website and see if it improves the traffic.  I will probably attempt to do it on this website as well.

He goes through and tells me what a good blog is and how it should work.  He spends a lot of time talking about how to make a facebook timeline, but it seems that there is a much easier and cheaper solution when you are counting your own time – fiverr.com!

But he also talks about your costs for this program – hosting, domain, autoresponder, outsourcing until you get to a point where the affiliate sales are bringing in enough to cover it.  So the money up front could easily be $100 outlay to do it right.  He also talks about what plugins he recommends for you to use on a wordpress website.  So that was the first part of the 3 steps it takes to be successful.

Step #2 is the tedious one.  I won’t tell you what it is, but it is something that I have gotten better at over time.  He does a good job of extensively telling you how to solve this problem on your own.  I mean extensive, he goes to each website and shows you how to use it.

And then about 10 minutes before the video ends – he goes into some really good information about other sources of traffic and gives you the lead of how to do them.  I think this part should have been sooner.  It was golden.

Tom really needs to add some PDF’s and tell people how long the video is.  And the PDF for taking notes on.  Overall, I like it and it does not appear to be black hat SEO work that has to be sensitive to Google algorithm changes. Also, I would like to get another lesson on some of the advanced techniques, but it is likely to be taught in the next two videos.  I will watch those and let you know.

Join me in trying out Tom Ness’s Viralbloggingtraffic.com and see what you think.
